Bilingual Strategies is a Language Institute that offers Spanish language immersion sessions for people who want to realize their dream of learning a second language or who want to refresh their Spanish language skills and build vocabulary. The Language Institute is also perfect for those who want to revitalize the Spanish they grew up hearing but not necessarily speaking. It offers an opportunity

to immerse yourself for six days in Taos, NM. You will live in the language in a relaxed environment, with other participants in small language learning communities. You will be listening and speaking in natural language use activities (daily living). You will interact with other participants to reinforce your skills and to amplify your knowledge. You will gain confidence and feel comfortable speaking in Spanish. If rolling your "rrs" is a sticky problem, that is easy to undo. Instructors were handpicked because of their passion to share the essence of Spanish.

Visited the Albuquerque AT&T museum downtown, where I worked when I was 18. Was a long distance operator. When customers were calling to Spanish speaking countries, those calls were referred to me. There weren’t more than 3 bilingual operators in the early 1960s. Brought back some good memories. (2nd pic) Our first home telephone in 1950s.
