Mary "Peggy" Margaret (McClelland) Milbocker
June 24, 1968 - September 20, 2024

Mary Margaret “Peggy” (McClelland) Milbocker, 56, of Allegan, MI passed away on September 20, 2024 after a bravely fought a two year battle against cancer.

Peggy was born in Elkhart, IN to Alfred W. and Grace (Tanzi) McClelland on June 24,1968. She married Scott Alan Milbocker on March 27,1997, in Orlando ,FL.

She attended Allegan High School (Class of ’86) and was a graduate of Davenport University. She worked for the Allegan City Police with her “partner in crime” Beth Wheat for several years and finished her career at the Perrigo Company as the Executive Assistant to the company’s Chief Legal Counsel. She was passionate about her involvement with the Allegan Sports Boosters, PTO, and coaching youth tennis.

Peggy is preceded in death by brother Thomas Allen McClelland, mother Grace and father Al.

She is survived by: Husband, Scott Milbocker. Daughters Mallory Rimkus (Rich), Erin Wixom (Miles), Damenick Woodard, Kelley Bottoms and Candy McKenney. Siblings: Robert, James (Anna), Patrick (Jana), Joanne (Mike), John (Maulín). Grandchildren (known to them as “Grammy”) Avery, Annika, Porter, Aspen, Graham, Keeley, Grace and Braelynn and many nieces and nephews.

More than anything, Peggy loved her family. She never missed the chance to spearhead special events, especially Thanksgiving and birthdays. She was infamous for her belief that everyone should have a homemade birthday cake of their favorite flavor, hand decorated of course. Peggy had a heart for her community. Her maternal love extended far beyond her children. The door and her table were open 24 hours to their friends and families. Greetings and see you laters never lacked a warm hug and a kiss on the cheek. Peggy was known for her hugs. She was a devoted Catholic, she loved her church, her local schools, Notre Dame football, her classmates at St. Thomas the Apostle School in Elkhart, her New Jersey Family, her Fit Body Boot Camp Family, and her close group of friends she called “The Girls”.

She loved traveling, especially with her husband and family; the Cheboygan cabin, pontoon rides on Miner Lake, trips to the Jersey Shore, the Florida Keys and numerous other places. Home improvement projects were a passion, extensive landscaping, her beautiful floral gardens and construction of flowing waterfalls and her fish and frog ponds were cherished activities. She enjoyed long walks with her beloved dog Darby and skiing when the snow was just right. She never missed an opportunity to teach her kids and grandkids how to ski. Her love for the outdoors was abundant no matter the season.

Peggy's Memorial Mass will start at 11:00am with an hour visitation beforehand this Wednesday, September 25th, 2024, in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church located at 110 North Cedar Street, Allegan, MI 49010, with Inurnment to Hudson Corners Cemetery. Following the graveside there will be a luncheon back at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Fellowship Hall.

In lieu of flowers, we request that you support another of Peggy’s passions with a donation to the Wings Home in Allegan.
