Marcusse Construction is hiring a Part-Time Interior Designer / Selections Coordinator.

We’re looking for someone with professional residential design or new-home construction experience who can help guide homeowners through the selection and design process.

This role includes:

* Meeting with homeowners to discuss finishes and selections
* Helping select interior and exterior materials
* Reviewing blueprints and electrical layouts
* Assisting with cabinet layouts, built-ins, and custom details
* Documenting selections clearly and keeping them on schedule
* Communicating with vendors, subcontractors, and our construction team
* Requesting and reviewing pricing when needed
* Available to answer occasional work-related phone calls during reasonable business hours, including outside scheduled in-office hours when needed.

The right person will be creative, organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working directly with homeowners, and able to manage several projects and deadlines without constant oversight.

This is a part-time position with flexible weekday hours based out of our Allendale office. Compensation will be based on experience.

Professional interior design, selections coordination, or residential construction experience is required.

Marcusse Construction is looking to add 2–3 guys to our frame crew. We’re open to entry-level applicants with some construction knowledge and willingness to learn, along with experienced carpenters who can help lead and keep projects moving with precision and efficiency.

What we’re looking for:
• Strong work ethic
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work hard and stay motivated
• Basic framing/construction experience is a plus
• Leadership experience is a plus for lead position

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our rapidly growing residential construction team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys numbers, organization, communication, and helping projects get off to a strong start. This position is a hybrid role that combines estimating responsibilities with project coordination and pre-construction support. With the possiblity of transitioning to a project manager position in the future if desired.

📋 Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare and manage estimates for residential construction projects
-Solicit pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
-Review plans, selections, and specifications to ensure estimate accuracy
-Organize and maintain job budgets, scopes, and cost information
-Assist with pre-construction planning and project setup
-Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, homeowners, and internal team members
-Help track material pricing, lead times, and scope changes
-Use JobTread, Google Sheets, and other tools to support estimating and project flow
-Work closely with the team to keep projects organized from estimating through construction handoff

-Serve as the liaison between homeowners, subcontractors, and our internal team
-Ensure timely availability of materials and resources for each phase of the build
