🧱 WE’RE HIRING: Construction Estimator / Pre-Construction Support

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our rapidly growing residential construction team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys numbers, organization, communication, and helping projects get off to a strong start. This position is a hybrid role that combines estimating responsibilities with project coordination and pre-construction support. With the possiblity of transitioning to a project manager position in the future if desired.

📋 Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare and manage estimates for residential construction projects
-Solicit pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
-Review plans, selections, and specifications to ensure estimate accuracy
-Organize and maintain job budgets, scopes, and cost information
-Assist with pre-construction planning and project setup
-Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, homeowners, and internal team members
-Help track material pricing, lead times, and scope changes
-Use JobTread, Google Sheets, and other tools to support estimating and project flow
-Work closely with the team to keep projects organized from estimating through construction handoff

-Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
-Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
-Strong communication skills (email, text, phone, in-person)
-Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and budgets

-Able to problem-solve and think ahead
-Adaptable and emotionally intelligent, able to work with a variety of personalities
-Focused on continuous learning and improvement

-Experience in residential construction estimating or project coordination preferred
-Familiarity with JobTread or similar construction management software is a plus

Handle sworn statements, lien waivers & bank reconciliation

Maintain accurate records for audits & taxes
