Beautiful update completed by my awesome team.
Leveled the existing pine subfloor- installed new plywood overtop of the existing subfloor- installed new 8 inch hickory plank, sanded, stained with early American stain by Dura seal and three coats of Dura seal commercial grade satin oil base polyurethane.
Complete update on the stair treads risers and landing. Installed new Hickory treads and risers sanded, stained and finished the same as the new Hickory floors.

Another beautiful update - second floor bedroom area.
Before photos of the existing pine floor- repaired ,humps addressed and reduced prior to the new hickory floor being installed.

FLOORS For THOUGHT!

When considering floor choices for your home or business, do your research.
Real Wood Floors- 3/4 solid hardwood flooring will out live any other floor covering.
The flooring industry has marketed luxury vinyl plank or tiles to be the indestructible floor covering- not the case.
In the event of a fire, products of this nature “Plastic “ will burn hotter and faster than those products made of natural products like “real wood “.
The plastic products whether flooring, furniture, toys, trim , countertops etc. release toxic chemicals such as hydrogen cyanide. The World Health industry has reported that when airborne, hydrogen cyanide concentration of 300mg can kill a human or animal within 10 minutes.
Real wood products are safe for the environment, even when it burns.
Wood has many uses in addition to the building/ construction industry also used for cooking and heating.
Real Wood is the best benefit - increases the strength and value of your home or building. Wood can be refinished and restored.

Beautiful modern update- hardwood floors were refinished- rustic beige stain applied and three coats of Bona applied to floors, railings, and posts. New railings, post, and iron balusters installed. The bottom treads went from round to square . Some photos taken in the process. Thank you to my talented mechanics at LVHF, John Moyer, and Snyder Stairs.
