This photo shows a crack inside a heat exchanger which can allow carbon monoxide to enter the ductwork. This isn’t safe for you (or this mouse). This is a good reminder to have several carbon monoxide detectors in the house and check the batteries. Also, it is a good time to replace your furnace filter. If you would like to schedule a furnace cleaning and inspection please give us a call.
