Matthew Gutierrez brought us his crew cab OBS with a vision: keep the outside looking like a clean factory truck, but completely change what was underneath. We made it happen.
Built from the ground up with a full custom chassis laid out on 24s, rear 4-link, track bar, sway bar, narrowed rear end, custom control arms, and rack & pinion steering. Set up for an LT1/8L90E combo, so we built a custom trans and driveshaft tunnel, front tubs, and knocked out the sheet metal work under the hood to make it all fit.
To keep the stock look, we built a factory-style raised bed floor, widened the factory tubs to clear the rear wheels. With the fuel cell being mounted in the rear we built a fuel door into the bed floor. Trying to keep that stock look in there.
