This bathroom underwent a complete gut renovation, transforming an outdated space into a custom retreat designed for both comfort and everyday luxury.

Behind the walls, we installed all new PEX water lines, updated the electrical, vent fan, switches, and receptacles to improve both functionality and the overall layout.

Highlights of this remodel include a heated floor system, a custom white oak vanity and built-in storage cabinet handcrafted by our team, a frameless glass shower with ShowerGuard, a bidet, and carefully selected fixtures and finishes that create a clean, timeless look.

What started as a bathroom remodel ultimately led to even more work throughout the home, which is one of the greatest compliments we can receive. We’re grateful for clients who trust us not only with one project, but with continuing to bring their vision to life.

We’ve been a little quiet over here, simply because we’ve been busy! June & July brought some growth to our company, hiring two more field teammates and a new Project Manager for our company. Meet Luke below!

Luke Johnson, a Kingwood, Texas native, serves as Project Manager for NAC Construction Group, bringing a strong foundation in construction, leadership, and customer service to every project. A graduate of Texas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Integrated Studies and minors in Agriculture, Communications, and Philosophy, Luke combines practical field experience with effective communication and problem-solving skills. His background includes building materials and lumber operations at McCoy’s Building Supply, residential property inspections and estimating as an independent insurance adjuster, and leading teams in fast-paced environments. As Project Manager, Luke coordinates day-to-day project operations, works closely with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, and helps ensure every project is completed with the quality, efficiency, and attention to detail that define the NAC standard. His dedication, integrity, and commitment to excellence make him a valued member of the NAC team.

We couldn’t let this day go by without wishing all the dads out there a very Happy Father’s Day!

Fathers are often the foundation of their families - providing strength, stability, wisdom, and support through every season of life. Much like in construction, a strong foundation is what everything else is built upon.

We also recognize the ultimate Father, our Heavenly Father, and thank God for His guidance, provision, grace, and the example of unconditional love He gives us each day.

To the dads working long hours, leading by example, providing for their families, and pouring into the next generation, your work matters more than you know. Today we celebrate all fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who help shape homes, families, and legacies.

We pray God blesses each of you today and continues to strengthen you for the important role you carry!

Remember our post showing the bones of this build during framing? Here’s an updated look at how far this project has come.

The exterior is really starting to take shape with windows, board and batten siding, standing seam metal roofing on the dormers, and architectural shingles, all coming together to create a timeless yet elevated look. We’ve also set the balcony posts, and finished waterproofing on the balconies to ensure both long-term durability and performance.

Like many custom builds, this home has undergone a few architectural refinements along the way as details were adjusted and the vision continued to evolve. Watching those changes come together is one of the things that makes custom construction so rewarding.

This project is really coming along, as we focus on both the exterior and the interior buildout, continuing to bring this home to life.

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Today is a time to reflect on the courage, service, and selflessness of those who gave their lives protecting the freedoms we enjoy every day.

To the families carrying the weight of that loss, we thank you and remember alongside you. May we never take for granted the sacrifices made by so many for this nation.

This custom steel building project features a 40x60 rigid frame steel building with 14’ eave heights, a 3:12 roof pitch, and an attached 12x60 lean-to, creating additional covered space with both function and curb appeal. Structurally, the building was designed with galvanized girts and purlins throughout, adding long-term durability and added protection against corrosion and the elements.

Our team handled the project from the ground up, including completing the necessary dirt work to bring the site up to proper grade elevation before construction began and extending the existing driveway.

The foundation was engineered with bell bottom piers, perimeter beams, and grade beams to provide long-term strength and stability. From there, we continued into the full buildout with factory insulation, plumbing, electrical, and EMT bent conduit work, along with a finished bathroom and installation of Andersen windows and roll-up doors to elevate the overall look and quality of the space.

One thoughtful design feature on this build was having the structure manufactured with straight columns along the porch area. This gives the client flexibility down the road if they ever choose to wrap the columns in wood or stone, allowing the building to evolve with their style while maintaining structural integrity and clean lines today.

Projects like this showcase the versatility and planning that go into steel buildings whether used for work, storage, entertaining, or future expansion.

For this project, we converted a sunken living room into a seamless, level surface and finished it with beautiful travertine flooring throughout the space.

What made this project especially detailed was the amount of planning required to ensure the new flooring tied in perfectly with the existing home. Careful attention was given to floor elevations, travertine thickness, and transition heights so everything aligned seamlessly with the surrounding floors. The goal was for it to feel like it had always been this way, and that level of precision takes major attention to detail.

Because of the long, detailed driveway leading to the home, we utilized a concrete pump during the process to help protect the existing exterior while still efficiently completing the pour.

Not a type of project we tackle every day, but definitely a fun one, and a great example of how even a single structural change can completely modernize and open up a home.
