Midwest Machine is pleased to announce the promotion of Kristi Russell to Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Kristi recently celebrated 12 years with Midwest Machine, growing from Executive Assistant into a key member of our leadership team. Throughout her tenure, she has taken on increasingly significant responsibilities, including invoicing, shipping, automation sales, and operational coordination, while playing an important role in the company's continued growth.
A proud Amarillo native, Kristi earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from West Texas A&M University. Her analytical mindset, exceptional organizational skills, and passion for problem-solving have made her an invaluable asset to Midwest Machine.
Over the past 12 years, Kristi has developed an extensive knowledge of our machines, components, and how they operate. Combined with her strong communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement, she has become a trusted resource across every area of the business.
In her new role as COO, Kristi will continue to provide operational leadership while helping drive innovation, efficiency, and the long-term success of Midwest Machine.

🎉 Big Congratulations to Kayla Harris! 🎉

We’re excited to announce the promotion of Kayla Harris to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Midwest Machine!

Over the past 9 years, Kayla has become an essential part of our team. Starting as our Executive Assistant, she has grown into a trusted leader by taking on countless responsibilities, including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, insurance administration, safety, DOT compliance, and many other critical functions that help keep Midwest Machine running smoothly.

As CFO, Kayla will continue to provide outstanding financial leadership while helping guide Midwest Machine into the future.

At Midwest Machine, we're proud to partner with Amarillo College to give students the opportunity to gain real-world experience outside the classroom.

This summer, we had the pleasure of working with Adrian Rosales. During his internship, Adrian worked on a project in SolidWorks and had the unique opportunity to follow it through every stage of production—from design and fabrication to assembly and final completion. Seeing a project come to life from concept to finished product is an experience that can't be replicated in a classroom.

Thank you, Adrian, for all your hard work this summer.👏🏻 We wish you the best in your future career and look forward to continuing our partnership with Amarillo College to help develop the next generation of skilled professionals.

When asked about his favorite project, Art couldn't pick just one—he enjoys being part of them all! Every new challenge brings something different, and that's what keeps the job interesting.

Meet the Shop: Cameron Contreras 🔧

This week we're introducing Cameron Contreras, one of our Lead Welders, who has been with Midwest Machine for almost three years. Cameron enjoys taking on projects that push his skills, and he's always up for a challenge.

🏗️ Favorite MWM Project: The Abstract Ice machine. Cameron says it was one of his favorites because making every part work together in sync was a challenge—and that's exactly what made it so rewarding.

🏖️ Dream Vacation: A beach with crystal-clear water.
