Chris brings a wealth of experience, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills to his new role. After joining the Navy in 1993, he served in critical engineering roles aboard a Navy support ship before moving into industrial maintenance and manufacturing.

Chris has the ability to step in and contribute in nearly any position around the shop. His versatility, creativity, and hands-on expertise make him a valuable asset to the Midwest Machine team.

We’re proud to announce the promotion of Jerry Hudson to Director of Automation at Midwest Machine! 🎉

Jerry has been part of the MWM team for 15 years, bringing an incredible depth of knowledge, mechanical expertise, and problem-solving ability to everything he does.

Jerry’s journey began in the U.S. Navy, where he developed his mechanical expertise operating, troubleshooting, and repairing critical auxiliary equipment, including ship hydraulics and water, atmosphere, and damage control systems. After his military service, he continued building his technical skills in plant maintenance before joining Midwest Machine in 2011 as a Brake & Shear Operator and Fabrication Helper.

In 2014, Jerry transitioned to our Automation department, where he became a key part of our R&D, service, and maintenance teams.
Known for his ability to fix just about anything in just about any capacity, Jerry has a natural talent for troubleshooting. His unparalleled memory, attention to detail, and ability to understand how our machines work have made him an invaluable part of MWM’s growth in automation.

We’re excited to see Jerry bring his experience, technical expertise, and innovative problem-solving to his new role as Director of Automation.

For more than 20 years, Matt has been a dedicated and dependable part of the Midwest Machine family. He started as a welder's helper and worked his way up through the company, earning the respect of his teammates through hard work, loyalty, and a willingness to tackle any challenge.

Today, Matt oversees every department within our shop, helping ensure projects move smoothly from start to finish. From quoting large-scale projects and developing machine layouts to supporting the design and manufacturing of our custom equipment, his hands-on experience and leadership are felt throughout every part of our operation. As a certified welder, he also brings valuable practical knowledge that helps our team consistently deliver quality results.

Matt's steady leadership, commitment to excellence, and unwavering dedication have played a major role in Midwest Machine's success, and we're excited to see him continue leading our operations into the future.
