Shop Floor Lead / Setup Technician
Full-Time Position
This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, dependable, organized, and comfortable helping guide daily production on the shop floor.
The Shop Floor Lead / Setup Technician will assist with machine setups, support operators, help keep jobs moving efficiently, and work closely with management to maintain quality, safety, and production schedules.
Responsibilities include:
• Setting up machines and preparing jobs for production
• Assisting operators with questions, troubleshooting, and workflow
• Reading and following work instructions, prints, and job travelers
• Helping maintain quality standards throughout production
• Monitoring shop floor activity and keeping jobs on schedule
• Communicating issues, delays, or material needs to management
• Supporting a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Helping train and guide team members as needed
Ideal candidate:
• Previous manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred
• Setup experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment
