Can Power Plus handle the permits, drawings, and utility coordination for your temporary power?

Yes, we can handle as much or as little as you need.

Our team can pull permits, design your temporary power plan, and prepare installation drawings that we review with your superintendent. For larger services that require a single-line diagram, we have people in-house who prepare and submit those drawings to the utility or Building & Safety, with that work included in the project scope and pricing.

Full-site electrical engineering isn’t typically part of a temporary power scope, but that capability is available when your project calls for it. Tell us what your team has covered and where you need support. We’ll work with you to build the scope around your project.

The E-Tank is a fully self-contained battery power system on tracks. There's no engine and nothing to connect while it runs, so it can go virtually anywhere on a site. Each unit delivers 14 kW of output from 100 kWh of stored energy and can recharge from solar, a temporary power pole, or a generator.

Job sites don't draw power the way they did ten years ago. LED lighting, battery-operated tools, and more efficient trailers have brought loads down, and that makes battery power a real option on more projects. Power Plus is staying at the forefront of battery and hybrid power technology.

The best power solution starts with understanding the goals and objectives of our customer.

In this case, a major San Diego hotel hosting a trade show needed clean, stable power for servers and other sensitive electrical equipment. Power Plus deployed two Atlas Copco battery energy storage cubes that could provide consistent power without the noise and load fluctuations associated with traditional diesel generator power. And when the batteries need to recharge, a generator can support the system without having to run continuously throughout the event.

Power Plus has more than one way to power a project. We assess the application, understand the demand, and build the right power solution around it.

Great having Darrin Martin and the Bobcat Company Portable Power team at our Corona headquarters for hands on training with Power Plus technicians from across North America.

The focus was on the new Bobcat PG1140 (1140kVA) and its paralleling capabilities and connection procedures. This training will give our team the technical knowledge and confidence to deploy these units across a wide range of applications nationwide.

Check out this custom twin engine, Tier 4, Atlas Copco one megawatt generator from Power Plus.

Systems like this are massive commitments for most companies. They require engineering, fabrication, redundancy planning, fuel system design, DEF capacity management, cable storage solutions, and space for transformers and panels. It is a complex build that has to run safely, efficiently, and for long stretches under real demand.

This generator uses twin 500 kilowatt engines that can run independently for redundant power at 500 kilowatts or together for a full one megawatt. And with the ability to parallel multiple units, the system can scale all the way to sixteen megawatts.

For most companies, a project like this is a major achievement. For us, it is the work we love and just another Thursday at Power Plus.
