My daughter recently visited Scottsdale, Arizona, to reconnect with her college friends and review a project completed in June 2017. She compared photos from 2018 with new ones taken in November 2023, showing how well Joint Seal 600 UV has held up. The sealant shows no signs of joint separation, wear, or discoloration, even after years of exposure near a window.
I’ve included the time-stamped photos so you can see the difference. With its 600% elongation and Shore A hardness of 83, the product has continued to perform well, even with long-term use.

Dave Moore demonstrated patching a large concrete spall along the inside railing of a sliding glass door. He used SSP’s color ring to identify which pigment best matched the existing concrete. Dave then mixed “Camo Patch UV,” “Color Pack,” and “Patch Crete Coarse” to make a grout to fill the spalled concrete. Since this patch is right next to the window, using a product that does not discolor from the sun’s UV rays is essential. Everything Dave needed for the perfect match was in SSP’s Spot-On Kit. This translucent material can be custom-colored to get the ideal match.

In the first photo, you can see significant chipping on the joint edge, along with adhesion failure of the joint filler. This illustrates the common spalling that happens after saw cutting.

Many joint fillers tend to detach from uneven edges. When adhesion fails, the filler can loosen over time, leading to flaps that create additional problems.
