LifeBreath 500 DCS (double core system for higher effeciency). New construction house, 7000 square feet. This house has Radiant heated floors (by others), A Air exchange system with a April aire 800 steam humidifier (added on trim). The in line fan is for spot ventilation in a room with a future lap pool and gym! Ductwork, sweeps, wall jumpers (for un cutable load bearing walls) made in house at our fabrication shop. well, not all the duct! although we could! if we didn't have an awesome supply house, Gensco, to keep us stocked with commonly used duct and fittings.

Kavik Hartley installing thermo pan. Kavik has been doing this for less than a year. He has a lot of potential learning from Jeff and hopefully will be doing his own complete installs soon. He has a good start. Good attitude and good tools. Here is a base can set and a pre rocked wall. Here is some ductwork with v***r barrier installed above it because of the attic space. A quality installer always thinks about the trades that come after him. We did put up the plastic, but the home builder did the wall so there is no problem after the furnace is set. Jeff White venting a Modine Hot Dawg garage heater. Venting done, ready for furnace. This will be a 2 zone system with a Trane XV80 variable speed furnace. Notice the Honeywell Zone dampers installed in the ductwork to allow the heated air to flow into 1 area, or both if needed. Totally clean. Totally straight. If you knew nothing about ductwork or sheet metal, you would still look at it and think "whoever put that in sure knew what they were doing!" It defiantly was not an accident. every part of an install is planned. VERY nice work Jeff! By the way, he started this job yesterday.

Retro fit for Energy rebate. Trane XR95. Personally would have went with the XV95, but this is what the customer wanted and I could not convince them because they were selling their house and would not personally realize the gain. Variable speed furnaces can save you up to $500 a year in electricity, are so quiet you wont even hear them run (barely), and can help overcome poorly designed/ installed duct systems. Combine that with a 2 stage gas valve which will help you also save on natural gas and you have a tried and true Furnace that will pay for its self in 4-5 years! NEVER UNDER ESTIMATE THE VALUE AND PERFORMANCE OF A VARIABLE SPEED MOTOR
