Earlier this summer, Wayde Carroll captured many amazing photos of the new Kodiak Fire Station.

RSA was honored to provide the mechanical and electrical engineering for this exciting project, incorporating a range of specialized building systems designed to support the station’s day-to-day operations, equipment, and emergency response needs.

We’re proud to have been part of a facility built to support Kodiak’s firefighters as they serve and protect their island community.

As we move deeper into autumn, we’re looking back on a great summer filled with long days, completed projects, and site visits near and far. And, of course, plenty of fish, time on the water (and in the mountains), and good memories shared with friends and coworkers.
We’re grateful for a team that makes the most of an Alaska summer, squeezing in those last days on the water before the snow starts flying and the skis come out. Here’s to a summer well spent!

A few RSA staffers enjoyed an afternoon at Moose Run on Monday for one last golf showdown before the courses close for the season!

After 35 holes, the teams were tied, sending the competition into a putt-off. Sean came through with an impressive no-look putt to keep Mechanical in the game! Although the first tiebreaker didn't settle the score, Mechanical eventually came through in the second tiebreaker to claim victory. 🏆

The prize? Bragging rights and breakfast prepared by the losing Electrical Department!

RSA and our staff were excited to support the 11th Annual Building Healthy Kids Toy Drive! Together, we collected building-themed toys to bring comfort, creativity, and smiles to children receiving care at Providence Alaska Children’s Hospital.

We’re proud to join Alaska’s architecture, engineering, and construction community in building brighter, healthier futures for Alaska’s kids. Thank you to everyone who helped organize and contribute to this event!

RSA had a great time at yesterday’s AIA Alaska Golf Tournament. It was a fun day on the course with friendly competition and the perfect opportunity to connect with clients and colleagues outside of the office.
