Celebrating the Impact of our Intern Engineer, Melvin Mather

Melvin Mather’s internship over the past two summers has highlighted the tremendous value an Intern Engineer brings to our team. His fresh perspective, strong work ethic, and willingness to embrace new challenges have contributed to several successful projects and initiatives alongside the Maintenance Team.

During his recent presentation to the Maintenance Team and Salary Staff, Melvin did an outstanding job showcasing his accomplishments, clearly demonstrating both his technical growth and the positive impact he has made during his time with us.
As he continues his education at SUNY Polytechnic Institute, he remains on track to graduate in May 2027 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. We are excited to see all that he will accomplish as he works toward this important milestone.
While we are sad to see him return to school, we know this is not goodbye. We look forward to welcoming Melvin back during winter break and are excited for his continued contributions to the team.

Supporting local Heroes and committed to the Communities | Donation to the Ancram Fire Company

Supporting the Ancram Fire Company demonstrates our commitment to the community we call home. Their firefighters are always ready to respond when needed, and our donation helps them continue providing lifesaving services to everyone in the area. This support is especially meaningful because two of our own employees, Todd Elliott and Daniel Brazie, proudly serve as members of the Ancram Fire Company. Pictured are Electrician and member of the Ancram Fire Company-Todd Elliott, Ancram Site Manager-Matthew Cook, Ancram Fire Company Chief-David Boice, Millwright and Ancram Fire Company Second Assistant Chief-Daniel Brazie. Safety GEMBA Walks are a powerful leadership tool that reinforces our commitment to a safe and healthy workplace.

Our leaders recently conducted Safety GEMBA Walks, spending time alongside employees to observe work where it happens, listen to feedback, and identify opportunities to make our workplace even safer.

Following the walks, teams gathered to discuss observations, address concerns, and develop solutions together. These important conversations strengthen trust, improve communication, and support our commitment to continuous improvement.

Splashing into fun at Zoom Flume Water Park!

Our Employee & Family Day was a huge success, bringing together employees and their loved ones for a day packed with sunshine, smiles, and unforgettable memories. From water slides to quality time with family and coworkers, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

🎉 Congratulations to Dan Reed on His Promotion! 🎉

We are excited to announce that Dan Reed has been promoted to Logistics Manager, effective August 24, 2026!

Dan brings more than 22 years of experience with the company to his new role. Most recently serving as Quality Supervisor, Dan has demonstrated strong leadership, outstanding performance, and a deep understanding of our operations, processes, and customer requirements.

His extensive experience and commitment to our business make him well prepared to lead the Logistics Department and support its continued success.

In addition to his new role, Dan will continue serving as our Safety Coordinator, helping us maintain a strong focus on workplace safety while supporting operational excellence.
