WELCOME to Team JICI David Shaffer! David is our newest Superintendent at JICI Construction.

He grew up in Coldwater, MI and went to Coldwater High School…“Go Cards!”

When we asked what his favorite part about working here, David said, “All of the great people. TEAM isn’t just a concept here!” He also shared that he loves being part of a great team and loves to build. 🏗️

In his downtime, David enjoys golfing with his wife, boating, traveling, and spending time with their grandkids. Let’s all join in giving David a warm welcome.

UPDATE from Klink Trucking, LLC's location in Ashley, IN! 📸📍

New truck bay & a lot more office space is in the works. While our camera crew was on site, the epoxy flooring was being set on the 1st floor.

Make sure to flip thru all the snapshots of the trucking company's construction project.

Who’s already been to the park this year?! 🙋 Don’t forget, on SAT, 5/30 Angola Parks and Recreation will be hosting a Grand Opening celebration at 500 E Harcourt Rd. A great time for a first visit if you haven't made a trip yet. YMCA of Steuben County

HOORAY! Spring is here and that means it’s nearly time for the splash pad to open at Sheets Family Park in Angola, IN. Lots of fun & memories to be made at this community park. 🛝

We tested out the many water features in the pad prior to its opening on Memorial Day (Memorial Day-Labor Day). Which part of the new park are you most excited about??

Plus, Angola Parks and Recreation will be hosting a Grand Opening celebration for Sheets Family Park on 5/30. Our team will see you there…👋

Join us all at Team JICI in congratulating Trine University Senior Elizabeth Thiel! 🙌 🎓

Elizabeth finished up her role as Marketing Intern yesterday. She had been working with the JICI marketing team since the beginning of 2026. Liz, originally from Edgerton, OH, is majoring in Communications and will also minor in Marketing.

She helped us greatly with our social media posts & graphics, engagement/analytics, frequently traveled to project sites for photos, and lots more. When asked “What’s your favorite part about JICI?”, Liz answered with the welcoming atmosphere from all the employees.

Some of her best memories working at JICI were getting to stop & talk to Jerry Mills in the shop about upcoming projects/life in general. Liz’s downtime involves spending time with friends, fishing, and socializing.

Let’s all give Elizabeth a BIG congrats as she prepares for finals week and graduation on Friday, 5/1.
