🌎 Earth Day at Hallett Materials 🌱

Our team refreshed our Wildlife Habitat Council pollinator garden just in time for Earth Day—removing weeds, enriching the soil, and replanting 122 plants using materials from the site. Volunteers wrapped up the day with lunch, site tours, and a great team‑building experience in the field.

We recently had the opportunity to present our Rocks Build Our World program to 88 students at Woodward‑Granger Elementary School.

The students were curious, energetic, and full of great questions about the world beneath their feet! It's always a great day when we get to inspire the next generation.

On February 4, 2026, our Environmental team went to a few local elementary schools in Ankeny to educate over 100 students on how ROCKS BUILD OUR WORLD. Several volunteers from our Johnston office visited with 4th Graders to demonstrate our business through a mining activity/contest.

Thank you to Rock Creek and East Elementary for allowing us to stop by!
