It’s one thing to watch a new high-rise climb into the downtown skyline—it's another to see the massive electrical infrastructure it takes to actually bring it to life!

Check out this time-lapse progress from our work at 515 Walnut. While the general contractors handle the concrete and glass, the Tesdell Electric crew is behind the scenes providing the core muscle. Our teams have been hard at work routing conduit, pulling heavy-gauge feeder lines, and setting up the main distribution panels that will keep this entire building energized safely and efficiently.

From the empty foundation to the finished views overlooking the courthouse, we are proud to provide the electrical backbone for Des Moines' newest spaces. Huge shoutout to our crew on-site for their precision and teamwork!

With each month comes massive momentum at 515 Walnut, and this one feels a little extra significant. We’ve officially reached 21! The 21st floor is a milestone that represents more than just height. It’s progress, precision, and a whole lot of teamwork stacking up level by level by level.
Tesdell Electric is proud to deliver the detailed electrical work that keeps this landmark project moving forward. Watching 21 floors rise into the skyline is a reminder that big visions are built one milestone at a time. Powering another successful project!

Our team at Tesdell Electric recently completed the electrical wiring for a new Steak ’n Shake in Waukee. This location is the first in the nation to be built with a new "retro" design for the restaurant, blending a 1950s feel, but wired with all the modern day technology. Delivering quality workmanship and reliable performance from start to finish, we are proud of the great work our crews continue to do on every job.
