A message to our valued customer and suppliers:

As of 3/23/2020, Michigan's Governor Gretchen Whitmer has issued a state wide Stay Home Stay Safe order for Michigan residents for the next three weeks, effectively cancelling all non-essential business services. We are in the process of receiving determination if our service of providing filters to key industry will be considered essential. On 3/23 we were still taking orders, providing quotes, and maintaining production and shipping as usual. Going forward, we are expecting to be able to work staggered shifts and /or work from home to ensure the health and safety of our employees and our fellow Michigan residents.

What this means to you as a customer or supplier is that our response times may be slowed as we adjust to new schedules and a staggered work force. Please allow extra lead time for products to arrive as we also expect delivery services to be affected by this state mandated order. We also may experience some delays in answering your phone calls during this time frame. Email communication is expected to continue with minimal disruption.

We value our relationship with each of you, and hope you all remain healthy and prosperous through these unusual circumstances. Please be sure to reach out to us if we can help you in any way.

We are watching the developments with COVID-19, more commonly known worldwide as the coronavirus, and are taking safety and prevention measures to keep our employees safe and healthy so that Bulldog Fabricating Corp. can continue to meet your filtration needs. We are monitoring State and Federal updates regarding protocols during the outbreak and will send notifications if anything affects our operating ability. CTC-Cap to Cap. Measurement of a filter element’s length.
DOE-Double Open End. Used to describe style of filter element.
EDM-Electrical Discharge Machines.
GPM-Gallons Per Minute
ID-Inner Diameter.
OAL-Overall Length. Measurement of filter element length plus gasket (if any).
OD-Outer Diameter.
OEM-Original Equipment Manufacturer
PSA-Pressure Sensitive Adhesive. Often used for gaskets.
PSI-Pounds per Square Inch.
PSID-Pounds per Square Inch Differential.
RV-Relief Valve. Mechanism that assures system fluid flow when a pre-selected differential pressure across the filter element is exceeded.
SOE-Single Open End. Used to describe style of filter element.

A fluid stream is the “fuel” required to keep moving parts (valves, pumps, tools, etc.) moving. A correctly sized filter and element keeps this fuel clean and at maximum performance levels. When all is well, the moving parts and the machine perform consistently and within quality expectations.
