At General & Mechanical Services (GMS), our growth has always been fueled by one core strength: our people.
Today, we’re thrilled to announce the promotion of six exceptional team members—individuals who’ve poured their time, talent, grit, and loyalty into building GMS into the solutions-focused, energy-efficient mechanical and HVAC services provider we are today.
As we evolve from a family-run operation toward a $40 million enterprise, these leaders will be instrumental in guiding our future—while keeping the culture and customer dedication that define us.
Congratulations to Our Newly Promoted Leaders
🔹 Evie Riccio – Director of Human Resources & Office Administration
With GMS since 2006, Evie has been our backbone in HR, compliance, onboarding, benefits, and internal operations. She’s also kept our team connected through IT, facilities, and administrative leadership. In her expanded role, Evie will continue shaping our culture and structure as we scale, ensuring clarity and consistency across our growing team.
🔹 Adele Oliver – Director of Sales & Marketing
Since 2009, Adele has been the strategic force behind our proposals, client relationships, and brand. From winning key accounts to supporting estimating and ops, her impact is everywhere. She’ll now lead our sales and marketing engine—driving pipeline growth, refining messaging, expanding partnerships, and ensuring we show up with professionalism and purpose.
🔹 Michelle McGinty – Director of Finance
Michelle has quietly powered our financial stability since 2012—managing everything from job costing and billing to forecasting and cash flow. In her new role, she’ll go deeper: integrating with project teams, enhancing WIP tracking, and partnering with leadership to drive scalable, profitable growth.
🔹 Tina Barrett – Director of Service Operations
Since 2016, Tina has been the steady hand behind our service department—coordinating labor, resolving issues, and supporting techs. Now as Director, she’ll lead service field performance, elevate KPIs, build technician capabilities, and continue delivering top-tier support to our clients.
🔹 Matt McGinty – Assistant Director of Operations & Service Strategy Since 2021, Matt has proven himself as a cross-functional leader—improving pricing, streamlining processes, and connecting teams. In this new role, he’ll help shape operational strategy, guide pricing models, and support service and project ex*****on at scale.
🔹 Roger Mooney – Senior Technical Solutions Specialist
With GMS since 2002, Roger has led from the field—executing critical projects and mentoring the next generation. He now shifts focus to designing smart, value-driven technical solutions for clients and OEMs—blending hands-on expertise with strategic insight.
