This , we take a look back at the Caltrain Electrification Project where we travelled a total of 3300+ miles via track.

Compiling over 270,000 man hours, this design/build project consisted of installing 3,337 EA CIDH foundation piles using on-track equipment, alongside 51 miles of rail track to support the overhead electrical cable for the train cars.

Along with this, there were additional CIDH foundation piles at ten electrical supply facilities along the route, to support the electrical supply equipment. The piles vary in diameter from 30” to 54” with a maximum anticipated depth of 45 feet.

This we look to a job in Dallas, Texas, which consisted of the design and installation for a temporary retention system. Work was performed in tight access conditions, including, excavation of the shaft area inside a historic downtown building, where multiple unforeseen changes were encountered. Our expert response allowed Drill Tech's work to be completed on time.

This we are taking a look back at the TX/DOT IH-20, Realign Existing Roadway job. This project consisted of the installation of 60,000+ square feet of permanent soil/rock nail wall for the construction of frontage roads for a new rest stop and re-alignment of IH-20 for the Texas Department of Transportation. Drilling for the nails occurred in clays, limestone, sandstone, and shale.

This we are looking at the WSDOT I-405 Renton to Bellevue Widening project. The purpose of the project was to add one express lane on each the I-405 NB and SB existing lanes over a 6.5-mile stretch from Renton to Bellevue, WA.

Our scope of work consisted of temporary and permanent soil nail walls, with a total area of approximately 130,000+ SF. This project had a unique set of circumstances as it was limited access due to the steep slopes and it being along a live traffic area.
