This almost 1/2 mile long driveway had become difficult to maintain and was rough to walk and drive down. We reworked the base, brought in almost 400 tons of SB2 crushed granite, then spread and compacted it. The owners now have a smooth driveway that will give them years of service with minimal maintenance.

These customers have an upcoming event at their home. The driveway is made up of typical limestone material that has some various size aggregate and they were concerned about people being easily able to walk and stand on it, so we brought in asphalt millings, spread and rolled them with a vibrating compactor.

This customer was experiencing large amounts of erosion due to water from the neighboring property cutting across their back yard. We cut a slight swale and brought in clay fill to build a berm to divert the water to the back of the property. This will stop the erosion and allow the customer to have full use of their backyard.

Repaired this drainage area. The customer’s yard has a small creek that had eroded from spring rains, as well as being overgrown. We brought in and compacted fill in the eroding areas as well as removed vegetation and reshaped the small creek. To finish the repair, we placed riprap to allow water to flow while keeping future erosion under control.

Customer’s road was just an old trail across the pasture. We excavated down through about 2’ of topsoil to get enough clay fill to build up a roadbed. Then we replaced the topsoil, grading it back out so it will drain. Finally, we hauled in limestone to make a suitable road base. At some time in the near future, we will bring in some crushed granite to top it all off. As the road is long, we will repeat this process about 300’ at a time (to accommodate the customer’s budget) over the next few months until all of the road is complete.

Got the tailgate built and a few repairs made to the bed on the new (to us) dump truck. Then put it to work. Brought in fill to prep for a concrete parking/ approach area in front of a building our construction company ( ) built a few weeks ago.

This new addition to our fleet adds more capabilities for us to be able to better serve our customers. We will still contract material to be delivered on large jobs, but we will have the ability to transport material when it makes sense for us and our customers. This truck was being used as a water truck, so we have a few things to do to get it back functioning as a dump truck.

Started another pad for a new barndominium. We started off by pushing back grass and the topsoil. It still needs a little touch up and backfill around the edges, but the majority of the work is done.
