R & R Steel Construction Co., Inc. is a Commercial General Contractor and Design/Build Firm serving Wisconsin for over 50 years. We are currently seeking a Drafter/Estimator to join our Design Team.
The primary responsibility of this position is to create working construction drawings for our clients and creating estimates for construction projects based off of the construction drawings.
The ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, well organized with time, travel and required documentation, cheerful, ethical and driven to achieve success in life and work.

Skills/Qualifications
- Self-motivation
- Strong computer and math skills
- Problem Solving Skills
- Understanding of Local and State Building Codes
- Experience with AutoCAD design software
- Pre-Engineered Metal Building Knowledge a PLUS
- Exceptional verbal and written communication
- Access to reliable transportation
- Minimum of 2 year Associate Degree in Drafting and Design or minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial drafting
General Duties Include:
- Communicate effectively and works well in a team environment
- Communicate with Sub-Contractors on design concepts and product information
- Drafting Bid Drawings and Construction Drawings for Commercial Projects
- Creation of Bid Specifications for Construction Projects
- Estimating and Cost Analysis of Construction Projects
- Blue Print Reading
- Multi-tasking
- Develop and Maintain Product Knowledge
- Consult with engineers, architects and other professional and technical personnel
