Supplies are the one part of harvest you can fully plan, and they're still the part that goes wrong too often.

Three weeks out, estimate yield and order bags. Two weeks out, place one complete order — shipping is free on most products, and you can always bundle Turks, Liners and CurePaks and save. One week out, stage everything at the dry-room door. On chop day, nobody leaves the line to hunt for a liner.

The cheapest bag on the product page is rarely the cheapest bag at checkout.

Freight gets added. Then tax. Then a liftgate fee, a fuel surcharge, a handling line nobody explained. By the time the total shows up, the "deal" is gone.

We price the other way around. Shipping is included on most products. Tax is in. No fees. Next time you compare suppliers, compare the final total — that's where we win.

Five things to check before a packout, in the order they cost you money.

Size to the load, not the shelf. Purge headspace before you seal. Lot and date on the outside, every time. One transfer instead of three. And don't put your seal operator at the end of a double shift.

It depends entirely on whether each lot was actually isolated — or just stacked near the others in something that breathes. Shared air, shared tote, shared pallet: that's three ways a single compromised lot becomes an inventory-wide write-off.
