On behalf of the officers and members of the Rockport Volunteer Fire Department, I would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Tom and Cassie Bell, Bell Air Conditioning and Heating, Tyler William Woodcraft, Aransas Glass Company, and Liberty Art for answering the call when our department needed help.
When Tom Bell learned that our department was in need of a new conference table for our Central Station officer meeting room, he did not hesitate. With the support and craftsmanship of the individuals and businesses listed above, they not only funded the project but personally designed and built a beautiful, one-of-a-kind custom conference table that will serve our department for many years to come.
This incredible act of generosity is a reminder that protecting our community is not accomplished by volunteer firefighters alone. It is made possible by the men and women of this community who step forward, lend their talents, contribute their resources, and support those who serve. The strength of our department is built upon the strength of the community that stands behind it.
