🚧🎉 Glenbrook Road Bridge Project Complete! 🎉🚧

After years of planning, engineering, and construction, the new Glenbrook Road Bridge in Stroud Township is finally complete and open to traffic!

Working in partnership with PennDOT, Kriger Construction successfully delivered the permanent replacement of the bridge over McMichael Creek, restoring a critical connection for local residents and travelers. The project included demolition of the storm-damaged structure, construction of a new single-span bridge, roadway reconstruction, drainage improvements, streambank restoration, and installation of new safety features and pavement markings.

This project presented unique challenges, including strict environmental protections for McMichael Creek's high-quality trout habitat and seasonal restrictions on in-stream work. Through innovative construction methods, careful planning, and a commitment to environmental stewardship, the team successfully navigated these complexities to deliver a long-lasting infrastructure improvement for the community.

The completed bridge enhances safety, improves reliability, and provides a durable transportation link that will serve Monroe County for years to come.

👏 Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this important project across the finish line!
