⚡ Reliability Starts Before the Lights Go Out ⚡

At South Central Arkansas Electric Cooperative, reliability doesn't happen by accident—it takes year-round planning and maintenance to keep power flowing safely and reliably to our members.

Over the next several weeks, crews will be performing mechanical right-of-way trimming in the areas of:
📍 Hwy 67 & Gum Springs
📍 Snyder Road
📍 Central Road
📍 Shiloh Road
📍 Richland Cemetery Road

Trees and vegetation are one of the leading causes of power outages. By proactively clearing rights-of-way, we help reduce outage risks, improve restoration efforts, and keep our electric system operating safely and efficiently.

🌳 This work is about more than trimming trees—it's about protecting reliability, improving safety, and ensuring our crews can quickly access lines when outages occur.

🚜 For everyone's safety, please use caution when traveling through these areas and stay well clear of heavy equipment whenever possible. Our goal is to keep both our crews and the public safe while this important work is underway.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue investing in a more reliable electric system for our members.

Almost all members who can receive power have been restored. Thank you to everyone for their patience today. Special thank you to the guys who worked hard to get everyone restored.

🌩️ Storm Outage Update 11:30am🌩️

Crews are currently working on each outage. We are down to around 500 members without power and crews will continue until all members who can receive power are restored. Thank you for your patience and prayers.

🌩️ Storm Outage Update 🌩️

As storms continue to move through our service territory, we now have approximately 2,000 members without power across multiple areas.

Affected communities include:
⚡ Alpine
⚡ Nathan
⚡ Daisy
⚡ Okolona
⚡ Antoine
⚡ Murfreesboro
⚡ Arkadelphia / South Central area
⚡ Central Community
⚡ Kirby
⚡ Curtis
⚡ Manchester
⚡ And surrounding roads and communities

Our crews are continuing to respond and assess storm-related damage across the system. Restoration efforts will begin immediately where conditions are safe, and additional crews are being dispatched as needed.

We know outages are frustrating, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and support as our employees work through the storm to restore service as quickly and safely as possible. Please remember to stay away from any downed power lines and report hazards to our office.

🚨 Outage Update 8:30🚨

Our crews are still working to restore power to members affected by today's outages. We know being without power is frustrating, and we appreciate your patience as crews continue repairing the cause of the outage.

We have around 175 members out of the Hope and Murfreesboro sunstations currently without power. Crews will continue to work until members who can be restored are restored.⚡💚

🚨 Outage Alert 🚨

We are currently experiencing several outages across our system, with the largest affecting approximately 1,400 members in the Rosston, Emmet, Arkadelphia, and surrounding areas. Affected locations include portions of Highway 32, Highway 53, Highway 355, Nevada County roads, Brown Springs, Manchester, Hwy 51, and nearby communities.

At this time, we are hopeful the outage is related to lightning and can be resolved quickly once crews locate the exact cause.

We also have smaller outages affecting the Nathan and Daisy areas. Crews have been dispatched and are actively working all outages as quickly and safely as possible.

Thank you for your patience as our crews work to restore power. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
