PSA;

Do not procrastinate,

if you’re one of those consumers who know you’ve needed a new HVAC system, but had put it off due to cost, realize over the last three years with all the EPA mandates that have changed efficiency standards, which forced manufacturers to make major changes on their lines just to meet these new standards,

It is not only caused a 50% increase in prices but it’s causing supply chain issues in all sizes and efficiency ratings, Most refer to as SEER but have changed to SEER2.

However, the bigger change for 2025 is they introduce not one but two new Refrigerants!!

so, if you have the old R22 Freon and had yet to buy a new system over the last 15 years that went to 410a with some referred to as Puron, that is now being phased out…

One manufacturer has gone to R32 and the rest is using 454B…

 So, while some of the older 410a systems can still be sold it it’s being moved out and there’s very little of it left.

Given the availability issues with the equipment, it is best to get ahead of this before you left with a broken system that you can’t get equipment that day or the next day, and it could be three days or much longer.

It is better to get the systems replaced when you have more control before they fully break down.

We provide free estimates,

if you’re in need of a quote and you’re in our service area please feel free to contact us and we’ll get that set up for you…

PSA winter TIP; This is a heat pump, if you have a heat pump, and it looks like this you might wanna turn it off. However, what does this mean? Well it means one of two things, it even needs service because it's not defrosting itself, or if the unit doesn't have a lot of water being diverted and water is coming off the roof and landing on the unit and not draining out the bottom also when it's defrosting if it's not draining properly at the bottom, it could start this process and over a long time going on notice it'll turn out to be like this.....So, we suggest turning it off, letting it defrost, it could take hours or all day, use your emergency heat on your thermostat that's your indoor heat... When it's fully defrosted, check and make sure the leaves or debris are not in the bottom of your unit creating a problem, maybe wash it out with a hose, and then turn it back on in regular heat mode, and run it for two or three hours, and go check on it. If it's starting to freeze up again from the coils up, you're gonna need to set up a service call.

I'll try to make this Long story short,

but last week I got a call from a customer in Sulphur Springs, well I don't have customers in Sulphur Springs, so when I did some research as he was adamant that he found me within 7 miles from him,

somehow Google and they're wonderful automated services and their AI garbage, somehow moved my business just Sulphur Springs and when I tried to correct it it's suspended my account as fraudulent content and it took me a week arguing with them trying to prove I'm the business owner and my business is where it has always been, this morning they lifted the suspension but for me to find out that it lost all my information as far as pictures and reviews...

You know all the reviews that I've been compiling since 2009 have now disappeared..

So ,I need to rebuild my presence on my Google profile. The link is below...

So I would appreciate anyone who's willing to go and give me a review if you had used my services which many of you have I would really appreciate it. TIA

PSA from climate experts AC and heating Inc;
To my current customers or my future customers,
it’s been a mild winter with a few cold spells but this is the weekend we will finally have a major cold front.
If you have not had your heating system tuned up it might be a little late for that but make sure you check at these things and remember,
• No matter what type of heating system you have make sure your air filter has been changed. It’s still very important, even though it’s not summer where your heaters can easily overheat as much as they can freeze.
• Know what type of system you have is it a gas furnace liquid propane furnace all electric heat or heat pump with electric backup heat liquid propane furnace all electric heat or a heat pump with electric backup heat or do you have dual fuel or dual fuel.
• For those with natural gas heaters just change your filters you’re probably going to be fine they work well no matter the conditions.
• If you have straight electric heat same thing not much to it it’s always on always off just change the filter and it should be OK as long as it was sized correctly, they’re either always on or always off 100%.
• Now if you have dual fuel that means you have a combination of natural gas heating and a heat pump. If the heat pump can’t keep up in extreme cold you could always switch it over to emergency heat which might say EM.heat on your thermostat and you’ll run your indoor gas heating. Or if something’s wrong with the heat pump, also you have the backup indoor heat until it gets fixed. No emergency service needed.
• The heat pump is it different story, if this is all you have with backup electric heat and if the heat pump cannot keep up and extreme weather, typically you can go to the thermostat and turn it up 3° above the set point or more and it will engage the indoor strips, when it says auxiliary heat or AUX on your thermostat which will run both at the same time.
It will heat quicker and then you can always drop the temperature back down once you’re comfortable. However, if you’re having a lot of problems with your heat pump outside steaming making noises ie going into defrost a lot and if sized correctly, sometimes your emergency heat on their own can run the indoor heat strips, in this case can typically get you by without an emergency service appointment.
Now understand this heat pumps work a lot differently than it all electric heating system or a gas heating system most of those systems will start blowing hot air right away or within a minute can get up to full capacity temperatures. A heat pump takes a while when running on its own to build up enough pressure to start heating your indoor coil and then start putting warm air out and it will feel cold at first which we get a lot of nuisance calls where they say it blowing cold air that’s usually just at the start and then it’ll blow warm air and the longer it runs it should get hotter but it’ll never feel as hot as an electric or a gas furnace heating system. So again, be patient give it time to heat before you call for an emergency service and again read up there for tips on how to get it to blow warmer.
