The City of Mount Vernon, Washington will undertake a remodel and addition on their Waste Water Management Treatment Plant administration building. Axthelm Construction will serve as the General Contractor on the work which includes a 1,269 sf addition as well as site improvements to the 2,063 sf existing facility. Cascade Door and Hardware has been selected to provide consulting services, doors and hardware on the project that is being funded by the city utility department. The work is currently underway and is scheduled for completion in Spring of 2021. Leonard Skinner of Cascade will serve as the Project Manager of the job with CEO and owner, Glenn Bayha serving as the Project Estimator. Everson Elementary school located in Everson, Washington will be the site of a facility upgrade that will include eight additional classrooms and an upgraded play shed. Overseen by General Contractor, Tiger Construction, the school is part of a three-campus project including Nooksack Elementary and Sumas Elementary. Cascade Door and Hardware is providing consulting, doors and hardware under the direction of Project Estimator, Jason Wren. Fisher Construction will be working on an upgrade to the Litehouse Foods facility located in Danville, Virginia. Litehouse recently acquired Sky Valley Foods and this facility as part of its efforts to expand its national share in the marketplace. Currently, Litehouse produces more than 1,100 food and beverage products that are distributed nationally. Cascade Door and Hardware will be providing consulting services, doors and hardware on the tenant improvement project to the 132,000 square foot warehouse which is a key cornerstone to the company’s continued expansion. An education bond passed by voters in 2019 will fund a facility upgrade project at Nooksack Elementary school located in Everson, Washington. Tiger Construction has been selected as the General Contractor overseeing the addition of four new classrooms. Cascade Door and Hardware will provide consulting, doors and hardware for the work which is set to be completed by the summer of 2021. Jason Wren of Cascade will serve as the Project Estimator on the work on behalf of Cascade. The work is part of a three-school project including Sumas Elementary, Nooksack and Everson Elementary. Epoch Design, a sustainable wood furniture company, broke ground last week with the assistance of General Contractor Sierra Construction on their future warehouse located in Arlington, Washington. In line with Epoch’s commitment to green design, the 53,100 square feet building will allow for more storage without a significantly larger footprint due to increased ceiling heights. The new warehouse will also be home to Mail Boss, the locking security mailbox division, founded in 2006. Cascade Door and Hardware has been selected to provide consulting services as well as doors and hardware for the new facility. Faber Brothers Construction has been selected to serve as the General Contractor for construction at Sumas Elementary school located in Sumas, Washington in the Nooksack Valley School District. Sumas Elementary will receive an entirely new building on the same property as it currently exists. Along with the addition of a newly constructed school, the project will include enhancements to the covered play area and security entrance. Cascade Door and Hardware will consult on the project as well as provide doors and hardware for the new facility. Jason Wren of Cascade will serve as the Project Estimator for the work. St Thomas Moore located in Lynnwood, Washington is the site of a major renovation and addition where Gaffney Construction will serve as the General Contractor. The Catholic parish has undertaken renovations on Dalton Hall, their kitchen, storage room, and upgrades to restrooms located in the breezeway. Cascade Door and Hardware has been selected to provide doors, hardware and consulting services on the work. CEO and owner of Cascade, Glenn Bayha, will serve as the Estimator on the project with Leonard Patricelli acting as the Project Manager. Earlier this year Cascade also completed work on the new Catholic church for St. Mary Magdalen located in Everett which was also managed by Gaffney Construction. In honor of the upcoming election, our throwback Thursday post is the Washington State Legislative building located in Olympia, home of the Washington state capitol. The 2001 renovation project was completed by Mortenson Construction who selected Cascade Door and Hardware to source gorgeous custom bronze doorknobs that included the intricate seal of the state of Washington, something we can all be proud of. Smartcap Inc., a private equity real estate acquisitions and development company located in Redmond, WA., has selected Cascade Door and Hardware to provide consulting, materials and supply for doors, frames and hardware for the Wesmar Western Marine Electronics facility. The leading-edge technology firm has inked a deal with Smartcap, Inc to relocate their operations from Woodinville, Washington to Arlington, Washington. The selected space will undergo significant renovations in preparation for the relocation. The facility will encompass 33,044 SF of space. Parkview Elementary located in Bellingham, Washington is the site of a two-stage remodel that will be managed by General Contractor, Speewest. The two-stage renovation project consists of a new single-story addition that will house a cafeteria, kitchen, music classroom and stage. Interior improvements include an updated gym and renovated bathrooms. Cascade Door and Hardware will consult on the project as well as source doors and hardware for the rebuild. Tim Daily will serve as the Project Manager on the work with Jason Wren acting as the Estimator on behalf of Cascade. Fisher Construction Group has selected Cascade Door and Hardware to provide consulting, materials and supply for doors, frames and hardware for their new office and shop facility which will be constructed in Vancouver, Washington replacing their current offices in Hazel Dell. Since its initial operations in the city in 2018, the office has grown to more than 35 employees with the expectation that 75 site and field employees will be working in the facility within five years. The 12,400 sf two-story office building will showcase techniques and materials most often used on Fisher projects. The steel-frame building is projected for completion in 2021 and will be clad with insulated metal panels and feature concrete panel accents. As part of the Spring District’s billion-dollar redevelopment plan, the 36-acre former Safeway distribution center will now include brew pubs, REI and an array of retail stores. Located in Bellevue, Washington, construction is scheduled to begin soon with General Contractor Foushee leading the project. Cascade Door and Hardware has been selected by Foushee to provide consulting services during the architectural design phase as well as serve as the provider of materials supply for doors, frames and hardware.
