Act now to save big before changes take place January 1st 2025.

There will be 2 major changes in the industry starting January 1st 2025.

#1 Manufacturers of all brands will be introducing new environmentally friendly refrigerants starting January 1st, 2025. All of our suppliers for new equipment are telling us to expect the cost of equipment to go up about 25% due to these changes.

#2 No more Ameren Rebates starting January 1st, 2025. The Ameren rebate program that has been rewarding customers for installing high efficient equipment for the last 11 years will be ending January 1st. This program was averaging giving customers $700.00 back for installing high efficient equipment in their homes. Ameren recently announced that the program will end for good on January 1st, 2025.

The good news is that if you were considering replacing your equipment in the near future, now is the time to act before the rebate program ends and the cost of the equipment rises in 2025.

If you replace your system before January 1st, you will avoid the price increase and still receive the Ameren Rebate.

The top 3 things to check first when your Air conditioner quits working. These 3 checks are easy and could save you a lot of money.

1 Air Filters!! A blocked air filter will make your air conditioner freeze up and quit cooling. If you notice ice on the lines you will need to turn it off for 3 hours so all of the ice thaws. After you replace the filter you can turn the A/C back on.

2 Thermostat batteries!! Most digital thermostats have replaceable batteries. If the batteries completely die, some systems will not work. If you replace the batteries and restart the air conditioner you will be back to cooling again.

3 Circuit breakers!! Sometimes a breaker for your air conditioner will trip during a storm or power loss. Check your breaker panel and locate the A/C breaker. If the breaker is in the middle position, it has tripped. You need to turn it all the way off and then back on again to reset.
