The employees of the Hopkinton Industrial Park came together, collected and donated over two tons of food to the local food pantries, kitchens and shelters.
The two-week event, headed by the Hi-Tech Health & Wellness Committee, organized 4 separate teams randomly made up of the building's employees. Each team competed against each other to see which team could raise the most food weight-wise. The food was then delivered to the Trinity Lutheran Church for their food pantries and Preschool Food Pantry.
Companies that participated were Hi-Tech Profiles, Inc., HTP-Meds, LLC, Hi-Tech Molds, LLC, the Westerly Credit Union, Seacon Phoenix, Independent Quality Labs, Inc., L-3, International Gaming Technology, Greenbytes, and Phoenix Optics.
4,217.5 lbs. of food (over 2 tons) was gathered and will be delivered to those in need.
Thanks to the generosity of these employees, many families benefited from this worthy cause.
