Alternative Performance Technologies is looking for dependable, hardworking people to join our field crew!

We’re currently hiring for:

🔩 Iron Workers

* Erect structural steel and miscellaneous metals
* Bolt up, connect, weld, and install steel
* Read blueprints and work safely at heights
* Travel to commercial and industrial job sites

🦺 Field Technicians

* Assist our iron workers in the field
* Load and unload materials
* Use hand and power tools
* Help keep projects moving safely and efficiently
* Great opportunity for someone wanting to learn the trade

This is a travel position. Most weeks you’ll leave out after our Monday morning toolbox talk at our Asheboro shop and return on Friday. We do our best to get everyone home for the weekends, although schedules can vary depending on the job.

Marcus has been doing an outstanding job in the field, showing leadership, dependability, and a commitment to quality work. He brings a great attitude to every job site and always gets the job done right.

This project is a great example of the teamwork that drives APT. Our fab shop delivered precise stainless fabrication, and our field crew executed a clean, professional installation on site.
