Building in the Mountains - Raw 3D Model Design Images:
Here's a look at how a new home will interact with the actual mountain where it will be built. The site topo is ACTUAL. This is a preliminary look. There will be a couple feet of finish grading & the decks/posts/etc. will have some engineered components, & bracing will be added in the future. This is mostly a look at how the slope of the side (side of mountain) hits the house. I like to jam it all together, then sculpt & tweak. I am "Digitalman".

North Asheville Addition/Renovation Project.
Here’s a current Addition/Renovation project that I’m working on. Early stages of design. I used the topo survey to model the actual mountain contours on the site. We now have the addition’s single floor level set halfway between the existing house floor levels. It could be two floors, or move up/down, etc. We are studying everything related to the site… it may have a deck, or it may be adjusted to create a terrace for fire pits, outdoor game area, etc… I expect both.
