Falcon Development is proud to be spearheading cleanup and remediation efforts in many of the buildings in Biltmore Village. We unfortunately have experience with flood damage from the 2004 flood... but the flooding caused by Helene was catastrophic. Although we prepared as well as we could by barricading doors and windows, there was no way to stop this flooding effectively. Our goal now is to clean out the mud and affected materials as soon as possible, followed by pressure washing and drying out with fans and dehumidifiers. Falcon transformed the old Mike Byer Auto on Coxe Avenue into Bears Smokehouse. This upfit includes a new timber patio structure, 2 bars, and a bio-retention style stormwater management system. 3 Smoker systems and outdoor fire pits

This was an incredible feat of engineering! Falcon succeeded in constructing a new building within a 100 year old original shell, maintaining the historic charm of this unique location. See final photo for the original shell prior to its adaptive reuse
