Friends and Family,
Reflecting on the meaning of Christmas is different this year than in the past. So much has changed in WNC. So much devastation, loss, and so many people hurting physically, emotionally or both! However, through it all I’ve seen from the beginning of this destruction, God’s paintbrush swiped from top to bottom all over WNC. People coming together from different backgrounds to lend a hand and help each other. Love, I am talking about true agape love, I have witnessed in places I would have never imaged. This, my friends, makes my heart swell with joy! It is the love of God that I have seen through the people that makes me the most thankful this year! Things may come and things may go, but love will always be something everyone can give. It is the ultimate gift of all and the most to be thankful for. Of course, God first showed His love by giving His one and only son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins. If you are one of the ones, like most in WNC, who are still hurting, please know you are loved and we continue to pray for you all and that God is with you. He will never forsake you, turn to Him by just praying. If you have never prayed before just start talking to Him…it is not hard and you do not need a script…Dear God, I need help, I need you…ask Him whatever is on your heart. He says if we do not ask we will not receive. Does He answer all of our prayers, no, however He knows what is best for us in the bigger picture. Trust in Him and give your life to Him! So to sum up Christmas….I am thankful for the gift of Love!❤️
By the way this is, and always has been, the staple of our company- Love. Go and ask any employee they will tell you the same. Without love you have nothing. It just shines a little brighter this Christmas Day!
