We’ve spent decades cultivating successful programs with emphasis on customizing them to meet our client’s needs. OUR HISTORY:
Founded by Edmund Baas in 1922 to make hardwood lasts for shoe making we have been in continuous business ever since. Initially a manufacturer of shoe lasts we expanded into the manufacture of shoe trees in 1933. In the early 1950’s we expanded into the manufacture of quality shoe cleaners, shoe polishes, leather protectors and other shoe care accessories. Experimenting with unfinished aromatic red cedar as a shoe tree material we invented the aromatic red cedar shoe tree and have continued to expand our aromatic red cedar offering with a wide range of unique cedar gifts for the home. Our shoe trees are made to precise specifications that are kept up-to-date as footwear styles change. It purchased OA Miller (a competitor) in 1962 in Plymouth, New Hampshire. In 1980 the business relocated to Ashland, NH and is comprised of 5 buildings resting alongside the Pemigewasset River.
