A & M Fire And Safety Equipment, Inc. We have been serving the needs of the community and surrounding areas since 1957! We offer fire protection & safety, welding supplies, and cylinder testing.

A & M Fire and Safety was started in a small garage by Donald E. Sidle in 1957. It started out as a simple fire extinguisher service and sales company. Over the years, with the addition of Donald's sons John and Bill Sidle, the business expanded to include all aspects of the fire protection industry. In the late 1980's the company expanded to include a welding supply store, as well as a fully equi

pped cylinder retest facility. Today, with continued growth, A & M occupies a modern 30,000 square foot complex, covering 3 acres of ground on a well traveled street. While aiming to service all customer bases, we pride ourselves on developing, maintaining, and dedicating our services to other small businesses.

A & M Fire and Safety Equipment, Inc is a small business in Ashland, OH. Apply to join our team repairing gas cylinders. A full process takes place to keep our daily business afloat in a demanding industry. Join a team of hard working, down to Earth, and team oriented individuals. Feel free to stop in and apply any day Monday-Friday 8 am-4:30 PM.

Our company is looking to hire a cylinder repair/maintenance technician. Position must be able to follow direction per customer request. Detail oriented and self-sufficient individuals are preferred.

Responsibilities:

Test, shot blast, stamp, and process cylinders for rehabilitation on a daily basis
Paint cylinders to customer specification and standards
Operate a fork lift
Maintain equipment and follow standard safety practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
