The home of rock 'n' roll is getting an upgrade! 🎸

is in the final phase of a multi-year project in to deliver essential trackwork maintenance at the Tower City East Portal. With over 2,300 feet of track built, this rehab project strengthens infrastructure supporting the transit needs of 2.17 million Greater Cleveland residents.

About the Project:
• The Structure: Built in the 1920s alongside Terminal Tower by the Cleveland Union Terminal Company, the concrete portal carries Huron Rd. and Ontario St. over Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) tracks.

• The Goal: Rehabilitate and extend the structure's operational lifespan for decades to come.

Supporting Our Neighbors Right Down the Street 💧

At Delta Railroad Services / Quality Track Equipment community investment starts at home.

When the Ashtabula Dream Center—the longest-standing soup kitchen in County—reached out with a critical shortage of bottled water, knew we had to step in.

The Dream Center serves 70 to 80 meals daily, providing fresh drinking water with every single meal.

Located less than a mile from our headquarters, this need hit close to home.

Delta’s very own Dominic Honkonen, Procurement Manager at Delta Railroad Services — who also serves as Chairman of the Board for the Ashtabula Dream Center— helped bridge the gap by connecting Delta’s job-site supply network directly to those in need through a donation and delivery of pallets of bottled water.

A special thanks you to Cindy Vance, Director of the Ashtabula Dream Center, and her team for everything they do for Ashtabula every single day. We're honored to partner with organizations making a real, lasting impact right in our backyard.

Progress in motion on the MBTA Red Line! 🚆

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority recently announced the successful completion of major infrastructure improvements along the Red Line—including critical track work, floating slab repairs, track replacement, and signal upgrades.

Delta Railroad Services / Quality Track Equipment is proud to partner with the MBTA as an active contractor on these critical infrastructure projects. was on the ground during the July 2026 Red Line surge shutdown, working around the clock over 10 consecutive days of service replacement between Alewife and Park Street to accelerate repairs and help bring the system closer to a State of Good Repair.

— Meet industry veteran, Triston Copeland, Superintendent at ! With a sharp eye on the tracks, Triston was a key player in our recent contributions to Maryland's Purple Line.

This 16-mile double-track light rail corridor will connect Bethesda (Montgomery County) to New Carrollton (Prince George’s County), linking commuters directly to:
✅ WMATA Metrorail (Red, Green & Orange Lines)
✅ MARC & Amtrak
✅ Local bus networks

With nearly 120 personnel on-site at peak production, this project is a massive team effort. Shoutout to Triston and the crew for keeping us moving forward!
