Another bright and airy remodel in the books! This shower features onyx wall panels which allow for customization in color and shelving but don't have grout lines to clean like tile.

If you are headed to the Rochelle Christmas Walk tomorrow night, be sure to stop by Terri Schaefer State Farm to visit the reindeer and check out the new porch we built for them this year!

Terri Schaefer State Farm has had reindeer come to visit during the annual Christmas Walk for many years and wanted to ensure guests had a nice, safe way to enter the building. They opted for new composite wrapped columns, a matching composite floor, and aluminum railing. These maintenance free selections brought a nice upgrade to this staple Rochelle business front.

With the addition of grandkids to this family, the new grandparents wanted to make sure their stairway was safer for when their grandkids came over. The homeowners selected a custom stair railing off Etsy. Then we built the frame to secure the custom iron rail, added posts, installed a bottom plate to match the existing floor, and added fascia board to bring it together.

We had the opportunity to attend a rigorous two day training with Schluter Systems in Peoria this year. Schluter provides products that are essential in the waterproofing process when installing tile showers, floors, and when working with infloor heat. We spent time in the classroom learning how water and steam pe*****te tile, how to protect wood frame structures, and how to prevent mold. Then we headed to live demo area to test the processes we had learned.

How cool is the back patio swing set we were asked to build this spring? The homeowner had recently learned about the physical, emotional, and social benefits of spending time on a swing for both children and adults. Then, they contacted us to build this aesthetically pleasing set of swings suitable for all ages. Enjoy!
