We're very pleased to tell y'all that the Monster Truck/Santa has been returned; however, in their effort to take it the power cord was severed, so we've ordered a replacement cord that'll be here next Tuesday, and the replacement one we ordered will be here Christmas Eve, so be looking for two Monster Truck/Santa's before Christmas!🤣 It's all good now, so it's still a beautiful day 😂. Thank you again to whomever decided to return it!

On behalf of the EDC/IDC Board of Directors, we're excited to announce the installation of our new "Welcome To Aspermont" signs coming very soon! Our goal is to begin 2026' with a new sense of pride in our community that initiates the beginning our "MAGA-2026'" campaign to Make Aspermont Great Again! This is a special place with special people in spite of our differences, and we're all blessed to be here! Mark 12:30-31 says, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.” To begin the new year, our challenge to this community is to make a New Year's resolution to forgive others from the past and love your neighbor as yourself and to do something kind for others and each day to say something nice about someone else! It's a beautiful day in Aspermont, Texas! Please join us in our campaign to MAGA in 2026'!

Congratulations to Aspermont for the great turnout and participation in the Lighted Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting Saturday night! Thank you to Stephanie Mullen and the Aspermont Event Planners for your efforts, and a special thanks to Lisa Flowers for providing hot chocolate and coffee while Santa & Mrs. Claus read to the kiddos at The Headquarters General Store! On behalf of the EDC-IDC Board of Directors, it's our honor and blessing to be in the position to provide the decorations at the downtown square!
