Construction is well underway for Carter Hall at Athens State University!

Once completed, this renovated and expanded facility will serve as a community and campus hub. Originally constructed in 1965, its revitalization will create multipurpose spaces for academic programs, public events and collaborative engagement.

We’re proud to share that the Lawrence County Courthouse renovation project earned an Alabama AGC BUILDSouth Award for renovation construction management earlier this year. Working alongside Lawrence County, our team helped transform the historic courthouse into a modern, accessible facility, while preserving the craftmanship and character that have made it a downtown Moulton landmark since 1936.

This month, we celebrated the groundbreaking of the new Arab High School alongside faculty, students and trade partners. We look forward to working with Arab City Schools on this exciting project.

Completed earlier this year, Pinnacle Financial Partners' newest permanent location in Athens, Ala., is now open.

The 4,200-square-foot office features an open foyer, an indoor water feature and a variety of meeting spaces and conference rooms. We're thankful for the partnership with Pinnacle, Gresham Smith and our trade partners on this excellent addition to the community.

We’re proud to share a closer look at the newly renovated Brown Hall at Athens State University, and to have been a part of its restoration.

Brown Hall was originally built in 1912 and placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. As the second-oldest building on campus behind Founders Hall, Brown Hall holds a meaningful place in the university's history. Now, the three-story building will support Athens State’s growing Health Sciences programs for years to come.

Last week, Martin & Cobey had the opportunity to join fourth and fifth grade students for AIS Career Day at Athens Intermediate School. The team had a great time demonstrating drone operation, showcasing building fundamentals and teaching students about careers in construction.
