We want to take a minute to thank S.D. Ellenbecker, Inc. of Athens for the partnership we’ve built over the years. Since 1968, their team has been building a reputation throughout Central Wisconsin for quality construction, hard work and taking pride in the finished product — values we’re proud to share.

Over the years, Elite Electrical Contractors has had the opportunity to work alongside the Ellenbecker team on a number of projects, and we’re grateful for the trust they continue to put in us.

Right now, we’re working together again on the New Hope Hospice project in Medford. It’s another great example of local Wisconsin contractors coming together, each doing their part to get the job done right.

NOW HIRING: YARD MAN / EQUIPMENT SUPPORT

SD Ellenbecker Inc. is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a full-time Yard Man at our Athens, Wisconsin location.

This position is responsible for keeping our construction yard organized, maintaining materials and equipment, and helping ensure our field crews have what they need each day.

Primary Responsibilities:

Load and unload construction materials and equipment
Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for jobsite deliveries
Receive, organize, and track incoming materials
Maintain an orderly and safe yard, shop, and storage areas
Clean, inspect, and perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment
Assist with deliveries and material pickups as needed
Operate forklifts, skid steers, trucks, and other equipment
Assist shop and field crews with other duties as needed

Qualifications:

Dependable, organized, and willing to work
Able to work independently and manage daily priorities
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Able to lift and carry construction materials
Construction, equipment, farming, trucking, or yard experience is helpful
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
CDL Required
Forklift and equipment experience is preferred
Must be safety-conscious and able to pass pre-employment requirements

Another great pour underway for our Agricultural Division! 🚜
Our crew has been hard at work at Bender Farms, placing concrete for their new manure pit. Projects like this take plenty of planning, coordination, and a hardworking crew to keep the pour moving and get it done right.

From manure storage and foundations to complete agricultural concrete and building projects, SD Ellenbecker’s Ag Division is built to handle the demands of today’s farms.
