In response to the ongoing hantavirus outbreak, the EPA has activated its Emerging Viral Pathogens Policy through May 2028.

Midlab currently has multiple Maxim disinfectants that qualify under the EPA’s Emerging Viral Pathogens guidance and are expected to be effective against hantavirus, including the Andes virus strain, when used as directed.
