This isn't a flex post. Its a show of gratitude. Self-employed can really drag you down if you allow it. I started out with a 12x36 manual lathe and a mill drill in a corner of my garage. I'm still a small fish among a huge "growing" pond... Alot of businesses out there now with literally factories with much more high tech equipment.

I dreamed for years about this moment when I could set parts up in a CNC and go inside at night while they ran. I've been running CNC for the most part since 2015. As I walked outside at midnight to call it a day, I couldn't help but look back through my windows at the mill machine fluting a barrel and think how far I come. By the grace of God of course!!

It's a long uphill battle everyday, but I'm blessed more than I deserve. I'd like to say thanks again to Josh Williams and Falon Moss who've made a huge impact on me learning what little I know on these machines.

And again its not a flex, just me really saying how blessed I am and how much I appreciate my awesome customers and friends. 🙏

Yeah so, and thats when I stopped doing stock work for awhile, or maybe even EVER. I lost count of the hours so far.

I actually committed to two more stocks along with this one over a year ago😬. Dear Lord I can't wait to see them finished!!🙏🙌

The one pictured here though has been the worst one I've ever done. Some of these older stocks were made to look smoother by adding texture. This customer made a remark about how he didn't want any texture to show. So..I stripped it completely down to the carbon fiber and had to skim the entire stock with dolphin glaze and then block sand flat. I also knocked the chassis out of it so I could skim and block it better. I hope it turns out nice🙏.

Here's a 300 Win Mag finished for a customer. Always great to see a customer act like a kid on Christmas morning. Mr Stimpson was so proud he wanted a picture taken with me. I'm always flattered by that. Very humbling 🙏🙌.
