Just wanted to give an update on how things have been going over at and let folks know what all we've been up to the past few months. For those who don't know, we got a funky bit of property at the beginning of the year and have slowly been building it out using sustainable low-impact development practices and utilizing pretty much entirely salvaged or second-hand materials. This 20'x12' shed is made out of old pallet racking, metal from and the soon to be installed roof and siding we found on marketplace. As well as bits and bobs that have been floating about the shop. Expect lots of beautiful naturally aged patina.
We also just picked up Lulu on marketplace. Lulu is a vintage 1978 Thomson Claymore camper so we have a place to nest. She's adorable.
I'm still accepting work, because welding rod isn't free. However, I won't be chasing that grind as hard as I have been the past few years while establishing this business. I'm still here, but you're unlikely to see as much marketing posts. Most of you who actually know me irl know that entrepreneurship was only ever appealing to me for the independence is allowed and freedom to move away from the clutches of capitalism. Not to perpetuate it. So the (semi) off grid homestead life has always been the dream. Slag Hollow is the balance and y'all are welcome to follow that journey on that IG or YT (yes, we're youtubers now 😆).
