🚢The NSC Marine team had the unique opportunity to step aboard the U.S. Navy’s eighth Expeditionary Sea Base (ESB), currently under construction at NASSCO in San Diego.

ESB-8 is a 785-foot mobile sea base designed to support a range of missions, including aviation operations, special forces, and humanitarian assistance. With a massive flight deck and accommodations for up to 350 personnel, it represents the future of flexible, forward-deployed naval support. Delivery is expected in 2026.

We’re incredibly grateful to Eric Saxton, Operations Manager at Trident Maritime Systems, and the entire Trident team for the warm welcome aboard and for showcasing the incredible work being done to strengthen our nation’s naval capabilities.
