A few months ago, John Curran was invited to appear on The Knife Ju**ie Podcast. Episode 654 is available online, along with a brief bio and recap:

(Note: The knife pictured in the link preview is not one of John's.)
Fast-forward to our return from an incredible Blade Show, and we received a website order from a gentleman in Huntsville, Alabama, who had just watched John's interview with Bob DeMarco. His order note read:
"I liked what I saw and heard and want to support fellow knife guys."
To quote Bob's recap of the interview:
"What I appreciate about John is his honesty about the work. He discusses the pursuit of perfection, even though he knows he will never reach it. He scraps parts every day when they do not meet his standards. That attention to detail shows in every knife he builds."
And later:
"This is the kind of maker worth supporting. Small shop. Quality work. Real passion for the craft."
As a small maker, there is no better compliment than having your work and philosophy resonate with someone you've never met.
Thank you to Bob DeMarco and The Knife Ju**ie for the opportunity, and thank you to Johnny in Huntsville for your support. We appreciate your business and look forward to meeting you in person someday—hopefully over some of that famous Alabama BBQ.
