You know those communities that are always outside?

Hosting meetups after work. Helping people prep for interviews. Teaching workshops. Answering questions in Discord at 11PM. Actually putting people on.

Yeah… those are the kinds of communities we want to partner with.

RenderATL Community Partner applications are officially open for 2026, and selected organizations will receive complimentary tickets to bring members of their community to the conference.

Anurag Goel from Atlassian is speaking at RenderATL.

He’s spent more than a decade building large-scale backend systems and data platforms at companies like Uber, Salesforce, and now Atlassian.

So if you’re into infrastructure, real-time systems, data pipelines, or figuring out how AI fits into all of this, this is probably one to circle on your schedule.

Especially because he’s not just talking theory. He’s worked on systems processing billions of events at scale.

A lot of people come to RenderATL expecting to learn something technical. What they don’t expect is how many real relationships they leave with.

Mentors. Friends. Future coworkers. People who help them think bigger about their career and leadership journey. And honestly, people are always surprised by the energy too 😭

There’s this weird stereotype that tech people are awkward or boring until you get to RenderATL and realize everybody’s outside having a good time, learning, networking, and building community at the same time.

That’s what makes our conference feel so different.

Not enough people are talking about the fact that Node.js Interactive is happening INSIDE RenderATL this year.

Like… the actual OpenJS community is pulling up to Atlanta.

The people behind frameworks, tooling, infrastructure, open source projects, all of it. If JavaScript has paid your bills at any point in your life, there’s probably gonna be something here for you.

And the best part is you don’t have to choose between conferences or buy another ticket. It’s already included with your RenderATL pass.

Alvaro Montoro is speaking at RenderATL.

He’s a Senior Software Engineer at General Motors, but honestly one of the coolest things about his work is how creative he gets with the web.

CSS art, games, experimental features… the type of projects that remind you frontend development can still be fun and weird in the best way.

You can tell he genuinely enjoys building things, and that energy always makes for a good session.

Developers hitting Ctrl + S every 2.7 seconds like the computer is personally plotting against them 😭

At this point it’s not even a shortcut anymore. It’s emotional support tbh.

TO THE DIRECTORS, VPs, AND PEOPLE LEADING ENGINEERING TEAMS:

Your developers can learn syntax anywhere.

What’s harder to teach is confidence, communication, collaboration, leadership, and learning how to build alongside community.

That’s the stuff that changes careers long term.

RenderATL brings together engineers, managers, founders, and builders from all over for a week full of technical learning and actual human connection.

And if your meetup, bootcamp, nonprofit, or tech community is doing good work in the South, community partner applications are open too.

Aditya Oberai is speaking at RenderATL.

A lot of people in DevRel talk about supporting developers. Aditya’s actually spent years doing it.

Student communities, hackathons, workshops, developer education… all of that.

He’s worked across .NET, Azure, SvelteKit, and now leads Developer Relations at Appwrite, so he’s seen the industry from a lot of different angles too.

This Chief Cultural Strategist said RenderATL is basically where all the nerds link up and honestly… that might be the best description we’ve heard 😭

People come here and immediately find others who care about the same stuff they do.

JavaScript conversations in one corner. AI debates somewhere else. Somebody explaining infrastructure over drinks. New friendships forming in random lines throughout the day.

It’s tech, but it actually feels human.

A lot of people ask how to get more plugged into the RenderATL community outside of conference week… honestly, the ambassador program is one of the best ways.

You get to create content, share your experience in tech in your own voice, meet incredible people, and help more folks discover what RenderATL is all about.

And yes, ambassadors receive a complimentary ticket to RenderATL 2026 along with exclusive opportunities and priority notifications for events throughout the year.

Applications close at the end of the month, so don’t wait until the last minute and then panic-submit at 11:58 PM.

Ace Abati from Block is coming to RenderATL.

He’s one of those people who genuinely cares about the web, open source, and making tech communities feel welcoming instead of intimidating.

You can tell pretty quickly that community building isn’t just part of the job title for him either. It’s something he actually enjoys doing.
