The starting price listed under each model includes survey, site plan, architectural drawings, engineering, design, permitting, full management, trenching, utilities, grading, foundation, build with quality materials and fixtures, appliances, finishes and cleaning. (No charge for the celebratory bubbly upon completion of the ADU!)
Additional expenses vary property to property, and depend on necessity.
For example, many municipalities require septic tanks to be augmented per bedroom addition, or if your home is on a hill there may be a need for a retaining wall.
Septic expenses, electric panel upgrades, tree removal, excessive grading or retaining walls, sewer line upgrades are some examples of potential additional expenses.
