At Gas South, we’re driven to make a difference for customers, employees and the communities we serve—an approach you’ll see most simply expressed in our purpose, mission and values below:
Our Purpose:
To Be A Fuel For Good® by caring for our customers and employees and elevating our industry and communities. Our Mission:
Our mission is to be the energy provider of choice by delivering exceptional value, service and simplicity. Our Values:
Do What's Right: Lead with integrity, honor commitments and interact openly to build and maintain trust. Serve Others: Operate through a lens of service to support customers, employees, and our communities. Be Better Together: Embrace the diversity of our people by nurturing inclusion and respect for collective success. Keep Growing: Create a culture of resiliency where we seek opportunities to learn, grow and adapt. It’s all this that helps our Customer Care Team go that extra mile. It’s why we give 5% of profits back to help support children in need, and it’s why our employees are always so eager to volunteer their time to help in charitable efforts. As our company grows, so does our impact. Since our 2006 inception, we’ve grown steadily to become not only the largest retail natural gas company in Georgia but also the largest in the Southeastern U.S., serving more than 470,000 residential, commercial, industrial and wholesale customers in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and 11 other states. Gas South is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cobb EMC, one of the country’s largest electric cooperatives.
