Doc fishing in California with some of our airman!

It has been a rough few months for the AV8RMED family, but we are hanging strong.
Dr. Tanaja is covering our patients for now and Dr. Faulkner is still offering consultation services, as he is board certified in Aerospace medicine and still practicing.

To Our Valued Airmen, non-FAA Air Traffic Controllers, and Student Aviators:

It is with sincere regret that AV8RMED is closing operations, effective immediately.

This decision is not easy, but the results of circumstances beyond our control.

As always, our priority is assisting you in obtaining and/or maintaining your medical certification. That said, we are asking that you consider contacting the offices below of Senior AMEs and HIMS-Trained AMEs to pursue your ongoing medical certification efforts. These providers are aware of our business closure and have agreed to take on Airmen and ATCs for exams.

For our part, we will remain available online to answer your questions regarding transfer of medical records and other certification issues during this trying time.

We know you've heard the rumors and it's time for us to address what's going on.

Dr. Faulkner has been suspended by the FAA - he is in the middle of the appeal process, and we are very hopeful that he will return soon and we will carry on business as usual.

In the meantime, Dr. Jasmin Tanaja and Dr. Shannon Howell have been working together to cover Dr. Faulkner's patients and keep our practice going. Our staff is doing everything they can to support the airman at this time.

We do not have any answers as to why this is happening. Dr. Faulkner feels like he is in the dark and unfortunately, we all know that the FAA is on their own time. It is a waiting game --
several airmen have reached out and asked how they can help - please be patient with us, show our staff kindness, and continue trusting AV8RMED to support your journey.

When we have news, we will share.

We are so grateful to have the opportunity to work with him, to support him, and to learn from the best of the best each and every day.

Dr. Faulkner may be a teeny bit older but rest assured, there is no retirement date in sight!
He sees patients full time Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
Wednesdays are saved for virtual consultations and Thursdays are the days he goes to battle with the FAA.

Jordan's first flight!!

This weekend, Dr. Howell was generous enough to take some of our staff members on a quick trip to NOLA. This was Jordan's very first flight and it was so cool to have Dr. Howell as her pilot - talk about FIRST CLASS!

Jordan, CMA has been with us for almost two years! You may know her as Dr. Faulkner's evil twin or provider assistant.
